Joanna Purvis is a Houston-based artist and the creative force behind PEPS Arts, a practice built on a simple but powerful belief: that art should bring happiness to the spaces where we live and work. With a Bachelor of Art and Design and thirty years of experience spanning fine art, graphic design, and interior design, Joanna brings a rare depth of perspective to every piece she creates.

Her personal work explores ideas of happiness and serenity, drawing from nature and Zen philosophy to create pieces that blend contemporary, modern, and abstract elements. Working intuitively with ink, acrylic, and water, she allows materials to flow and interact freely on the canvas, guided by instinct and natural impulse. The result is a quiet inner world expressed through fluid movement, layered color, and dynamic contrast that evokes a sense of timeless stillness.

Beyond her studio practice, Joanna is highly sought after for bespoke commissioned work.
